I began my cheffing career over six years ago, taking me from Brisbane, to London and across France.
I have been lucky enough to have found wonderful mentors who have taught me to acknowledge the natural timing of food, the importance of using ‘food of the moment’, and eating ingredients which are in their prime.
These days you can find me in a different kind of kitchen, closer to the ocean, cooking fresh and seasonal food for hungry surfers… also satisfying my current fascination with pickling and fermentation.
Georgia is nothing short of a sorceress in the kitchen; I have never even imagined that vegetables could be elevated to the level dished out as standard at the Surf house. Her food is healthy, plentiful and served with a generous helping of great chat.
